The Minories Gallery is holding a series of workshops, talks and demonstrations to accompany its latest exhibition, 30YRS of 12PM.

From today until Friday, Doug Selway will be in residence producing monoprints and reliefs and on Tuesday, Al Brown will give a demonstration of his large jigsaw woodcut printing technique from 11am until 3pm.

At 2pm next Saturday, Al Brown give a demonstration of jigsaw woodcuts cutting, assembling and printing, and Daphne Sandham will demonstrate the technique of colour separation.

Next Wednesday at 6pm, Penny Berry will give a talk on artist’s books in the Ballroom and then on October 18, Judith Lockie will give a Japanese printmaking demonstration.

Following this, on October 25 at 2pm Bryan Whiteley will give a collagraph demonstration in the Girling Room and on November 1 also at 2pm, Anthony Searle will give a Mezzotint and collograph demonstration .

All talks will take place in the Girling Room of the galleries, in High Street, Colchester.

All the events are free to all and the 30YRS of 12PM exhibition runs until November 1 from 10am until 5pm Monday to Saturday.
