A makeover show presented by Peter Andre and set in Halstead will be aired at the end of the year.
The Mysterious Girl singer and ex-husband of glamour model Katie Price was filmed making over a house in Mount Pleasant for the new series of 60 Minute Makeover, which will begin this winter.
Kitted out in blue overalls, Peter and a 40-strong crew of carpenters, plasterers and decorators transformed the house of an unsuspecting resident in May, while they were taken out for the day.
The complete transformation, which was kept under wraps on the day, will be shown on the show including the resident’s reaction.
Peter’s appearance in Halstead caused quite a stir amongst those living in the town, who queued up for hours for a picture of themselves with the star, who appeared on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
An ITV spokesman said: “The show isn't due to air until much later this year, in the winter time, so I'll be working on it again towards the end of the year.”
