Bus and car collide in Colchester town centre

A WOMAN was taken to hospital with head injuries after a bus and car collided in Colchester town centre.
 

Police and ambulance crews were called to Head Street at 9.50am yesterday.
 

Paramedics treated a woman, aged in her 40s, at the scene opposite the Odeon cinema.
 

Police are investigating.
 

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “Police are investigating the circumstances behind a road crash between a silver Toyota Yaris and a bus on Head Street in Colchester on August 19.
 

“A female bus passenger suffered head injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance.”
 

She was taken to Colchester General Hospital but the head injury was not life threatening.
