SAILORS old and new took to the waves during Pyefleet Week at Brightlingsea Sailing Club this week.

The annual regatta saw competition on the waves and fun on the shore as more than 130 boats took to the water each day.

Club commodore Alice Davies said:“Entries have held up and we are really pleased as we also have the biggest fleet of Lasers we have ever had.

“The weather has been up and down with a few rain showers going through but it has not stopped any of the races.”

The racing ends today.
