Colchester Borough Homes seeks to ban Bevan Ash from Greenstead

A BEGGAR who faces being banned from a Colchester estate has one week to prepare legal arguments against the order.

Bevan Ash, 42, lives with his mother in Greenstead but Colchester Borough Homes want an injunction preventing him from visiting the estate.

A hearing at Chelmsford County Court today saw the case put back until February 21 to allow Mr Ash’s legal team to prepare its case.

Colchester Borough Homes had previously won an unprecedented 10 year banning order against Mr Ash, but this was overturned on appeal as he had not had time to defend himself against the order.
