A TEENAGER died after his bicycle was involved in a collision with a car.
The incident happened at around 7.15pm yesterday on Greenstead Road, Colchester near to the Tesco supermarket.
The 16-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the car, a silver Mazda saloon car, was taken to Colchester General Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and is in police custody.
