Could I ask the son of a wizard who redesigned the town end of the Lexden Road to inform us which car has the right of way on reaching the end of the great barrier reef he has erected.
Is it the cars exiting from Crouch Street who wish to veer to the right or those on the Lexden Road who wish to go left, down Balkerne Hill.
Could I advise him to spend some time sitting at the Rodney Bass plaza to observe the traffic.
He could bring also his offspring, with skateboard, to make use of this newly created facility, while he ponders the problem.
I think removing the offending reef and thus returning to the status quo ante would be the simplest solution.
If nothing is done I predict that many accidents will occur there, although one can only blame the driver of the flying Porsche for attempting to take a short cut through a wall from Crouch Street.
