The scene in Coppins Road, Clacton, this afternoon
THE emergency services are at the scene of a traffic accident in Clacton.
The smash happened this afternoon in Coppins Road.
The fire brigade, police and ambulance service are at the scene.
A brigade spokesman said: "We were called to a road traffic accident in Coppins Road at 4.16pm. Two fire engines from Clacton attended.
"It was a single vehicle accident and we assisted paramedics with one casualty and made the vehicle safe.
"The male casaualty was left in the care of paramedics at 4.36pm."
