FIREFIGHTERS fixed potentially dangerous loose boardings on the Post Office in Colchester.
The crews were called after concerns were raised about softfit boardings on the front of the Post Office building on North Hill on Monday evening.
After assessing the area, firefighters decided ladders may damage the building even more so used an aerial ladder platform to remove 15ft of rotten boards.
The crews were on the scene for roughly 45 minutes, and left at 6.45pm.
