ARRESTS have been made after police found 27 cannabis plants in a shed.
Police were called at about 1.30am on Friday, January 13.
It was in response to a number of break ins into garages in Rickstones Road, Witham.
Officers carried out a search and arrested two boys aged 16 and 17 in a garden in Rickstones Road.
They were arrested on suspicion of burglary and are currently in custody for questioning.
Police also found about 27 cannabis plants in a shed, plus cigarettes that were believed to have been stolen.
Two men aged 29 and 62 and a woman aged 62 were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and handling stolen goods.
They are currently in custody for questioning.
