A CANCER survivor from Colchester was treated to a London show with her daughter where she met a Strictly star.
Emily Flett recently finished treatment for breast cancer and was given the tickets by Ellie’s Friends, a cancer charity which gives treats to adults living with cancer.
The pair watched The Last Tango at the Phoenix Theatre in West End and even met dance star Flavia Cacace.
Emily, 44, said: “We had a fabulous day which was much needed.
“I had just finished treatment and had an infection in my lumpectomy site so a day like this has meant the world.”
Ellie’s Friends passes on donations from generous businesses and individuals to help offset some of the financial and psychological impact of living with cancer.
