KISS FM's Bobby and Steve are bringing some musical treats to The Haunt in Colchester this weekend.
As part of the latest Socialize club night, the duo will be headlining a special Halloween event at the North Hill bar on Saturday.
Brought up on a diet of classic Philly, Chicago and Detroit Seventies and Eighties Soul Bobby and Steve honed their DJing skills through the Eighties warehouse party scene.
News of the success of the boy’s parties spread and it wasn’t long before the pair were approached by Gordon Mac, founder of London’s once biggest pirate radio station Kiss FM, who offered them a weekly slot.
Later they would go on to set up Garage City, hailed as England’s most established Garage night out where people such as Louie Vega, Eric Morillo and Todd Terry performed sets.
Socialize's The Haunted is at The Haunt, North Hill, Colchester, this Saturday from 6pm to 2am with support by Sean B, Paddy Kristofferson, Peter Johnson, James P & Gavin Buford.
Door prices are £6 before 11pm and £10 after.
