A HORSEBOX was stolen after a burglary in West Mersea.

Police were called to Colchester Road on the island after a woman in her 30s reported someone had forced their way into her home on Monday after she returned home at 2.15pm

The keys to the white Citreon Relay horsebox had been stolen and the vehicle was missing.

Witnesses spotted a man of large build with dark hair driving the horse box towards Salcott at around 3pm.
