PAPA John's takeaway in Colchester will give away free pizzas to the first 100 customers on Tuesday in support of ITV’s festive fundraiser Text Santa.

The money raised will be donated to the charity appeal, which this year is supporting Macmillan Cancer Support, Make-A-Wish and Save the Children.

Guests will be able to choose from either a small cheese and tomato or pepperoni pizza, and for a donation may also receive an ITV Text Santa badge.

Papa John’s is setting a minimum donation of £3 for the pizzas with all the money going to charity.

The store, in Middleborough, will also be donating 50p from all XXL pizzas sold during the festive period for Text Santa.

ITV’s Text Santa appeal sees presenters including Phillip Schofield, Holly Willoughby, Amanda Holden and Paddy McGuinness, celebrate Christmas Jumper Day in a three-hour TV spectacular on Friday December 18.
