A PREGNANT woman laughed so hard at comedian Michael McIntre’s new show she went into labour six weeks early.

Cara Brown, 28, was at the opening night of the star’s Happy and Glorious show at the o2 in London when her waters broke.

She is convinced the early labour was brought on by Mr McIntre’s gags.

She said: “I love him, he’s just hilarious. We spent two hours laughing.

“I think she must like him as well.”

Cara, who was at the show with her brother Peter Brown, best friend Zoe Marlborough and Zoe’s husband Michael, called Colchester Genera Hospital and was advised to go to a London hospital in case they did not make it back in time.

But Cara wanted to go back to Colchester so her partner of 13 years Stephen Gillmore, 30, could be there.

So they jumped in Michael’s car and drove back to Essex.

36 hours after arriving at Colchester General Hospital she gave birth, at 6.38am on Saturday morning.

The healthy little girl, who does not have a name yet, weighed 5lb 1oz.

She is in the special care unit, where she expected to stay for another week before returning to the family’s home in Neasden Avenue, Clacton.
