A man has been arrested at an address in Essex as part of the investigation into a London jewellery heist.
The 42-year-old man is the tenth person to be arrested after 56 safety deposit boxes were stolen in Hatton Garden over the Easter weekend.
The suspect, who is a white British man, was arrested at 9.40am today and taken to a London police station.
Eight other suspects, men aged between 48 and 74, appeared before magistrates in Westminster today and were remanded in custody until June 4.
A ninth man has been bailed until a date to be confirmed, pending further enquiries.
