FRAUDSTERS stole hundreds of pounds from a 94-year-old man after falsely agreeing to carry out conservatory repairs.

Two men took the money from the elderly man, who lives in Vint Crescent, Colchester.

They told the man they would repair his conservatory roof, but instead made off with the money.

The first suspect is described as white, aged in his early fifties with a heavy build.

He is about 5ft 11ins tall with dark hair and was wearing a light coloured shirt with dark horizontal and vertical stripes.

The second suspect is in his late twenties to early thirties.

He has a slim to medium build and is around 5ft 8ins tall.

The suspects were driving what is believed to be a white Leyland DAF flatbed pickup van.
