COLCHESTER Leisure World has seen visitor numbers increase by about 140,000 in two years and is close to breaking even for the first time.
A £1.6million revamp, including an upgraded gym, a new dance and exercise studio and an expanded reception with a new cafe, was completed last year.

Matthew Young, the council’s head of operational services, said an increase in visitors, coupled with a cut in spending, means the target should be met.
