Detectives hope the release of CCTV pictures will help them identify a burglary suspect.

Police investigating a burglary in Hargood Close, Colchester, on August 11, have already arrested one man.

But they are still searching for a second man, described as black, in his 20s, with short hair and average height.

At the time of the incident he was wearing jeans and a blue checked long sleeved top.

The break-in took place between 4.30pm and 5pm, two suspects entered the flat of the victim, who was not on the premises, but they were disturbed and ran off.

A 23-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and drug offences and has been bailed until October 13.

A second man made off after assaulting a police officer and breaking his finger.

Police are seeking information about this man's current location.

They believe that he uses the name Monty or Montana and may be from the Hackney area.
