    Nothing to do with the tax we pay to councils. It is all down to the water companies and the rates we pay to them. They are quite incompetent when it comes to looking after water supplies."

Burst pipe causes traffic problems

A BURST water pipe caused water to spill over onto a road in Clacton.

The pipe started leaking water onto Rush Green Road near Jaywick Lane at about 12noon today.

Temporary traffic lights were put in place to ease traffic past the flooded area while engineers worked to fix the problem.

Motorist were warned to take extra care as they passed the area.
