COMEDIAN Jimmy Carr will be treating fans to an extra hour of jokes as part of his warm up tour.
More than 800-plus comedy lovers will be packing out Clacton’s Princes Theatre for the show on Friday.
The comedian’s one-hour taster show has been doubled to a two-hour full show.
Tendring Council, which runs the theatre, only found out about the change yesterday.
Melissa Diplock, theatre and entertainments manager for marketing, said: “We are really looking forward to a packed house – there is literally not a single seat left.
“But now fans can look forward to double the material and all at the original price of just £15 which is excellent value for money.
“A lucky few will even be invited onto the stage to take part in the show and it promises to be a great night.”
The show, which starts at 8pm, will now end at 10.30pm.
The show is part of Carr’s Gagging Order warm-up tour and he will try out new material for his forthcoming tour around the UK.
Carr’s TV work includes 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Big Fat Quiz of the Year and 10 O’Clock Live.
