Thief swipes soccer squad's footballs

YOUNG soccer players were forced to cancel their training session after thieves stole their footballs.
FC Clacton’s under-16 team had to scrape around for a match ball following the theft.
Coach Glenn Eldridge said: “I went to get a spare wheel on my car so cleared the boot out and left the footballs on my doorstep.
“It’s disgusting – they were only left there ten minutes."
