A REDUCTION in council tax could be on the cards for residents in Tendring.
This week the 2012/2013 bugdet for Tendring Council was approved by the authorities cabinet.
It would see residents given a 0.5per cent reduction in their council tax bill, matching the cut given to residents last year.
Portfolio holder for Finance, Peter Halliday, said: “It has to be agreed by full council on February 7 and is now going to the scrutiny committee to be looked at.
“But initial feedback is positive."
