GAZETTE delivery girl Linda Richards swam a massive 150 lengths of her local pool for Sport Relief ... and then celebrated with a curry.
Linda, 15, had never swum more than 120 lengths before but decided to smash the two-mile barrier for charity.
She completed the marathon swim in just under two hours - cheered on by grandparents Joan and Ian Richards.
Mum Carol said: "She did 150 lenths in one hour 56 minutes according to her grandad whi was counting.
"Linda did brilliantly - but she was exhausted at the end of it."
The teenager is a member of Walton Sea Cadets and hopes to join the Royal Navy The Tendring Technology College pupil didn't even practise for the charity fundraiser.
"She did really well," added Carol.
"The lifeguards put a lane out for her. They all know her down at the pool because she has swum there for so many years."
Linda, of Hall Lane, Walton, raised £175 for Sport Relief and celebrated in style with an Indian takeaway.
