FIREFIGHTERS were called to rescue an 82-year-old woman trapped in a lift.
The pensioner had been trapped in the lift in Imperial Court, a supported pensioners’ flats development in Marine Parade West, Clacton.
One fire crew arrived at 6.40pm on Friday and they were able to free the woman within a few minutes.
She was distressed but otherwise unharmed.
