AN 18-year-old man has been robbed after being threatened with a knife and punched in the face on Alton Park Road. Clacton.

The victim, who was on his bike, was approached by two men and one woman near to the junction on Ford Road at around 3.30am on Sunday, September 17. 

He was threatened with what is believed to be a small knife, punched in the face before he had his bike and a small amount of cash stolen.

A member of the public,who was driving a large family car, stopped to speak to the victim shortly after the incident.

Officers are urging this person to come forward so they can speak to him.

Police are also looking for anyone who may recognise the victims bikes, a blue Muddy Fox mountain bike, or they have been offered it for sale.

Three people have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and have been released on bail until Monday, October 2.
