A CHARITY is celebrating after winning an award.
Community Voluntary Services Tendring, based in Clacton, has won a quality award recognising its work in supporting and developing the voluntary sector across the district.
The charity delivers a wide range of support services including financial advice, fundraising, older people’s groups and training seminars.
Sharon Alexander, chief officer, said: “Everyone working and volunteering for CVS is over the moon. Trustees and staff can give themselves a big pat on the back for what they have achieved.
“It’s wonderful to be recognised for the high standard we deliver.”
