JAYWICK celebrated its fourth successful event showcasing local talent.
The tight-knit community has hosted a number of Jaywick’s Got Talent nights since it was first launched in 2015.
About 70 people descended on St Christopher’s Church to watch 13 contestants battle it out for the top spot.
The first place £50 cash prize went to singer Katie Smith, while second was awarded to singer Morgan Beard who won £30.
Donna Mimms, of Jaywick Sands Happy Club, helped organise the event with community stalwart Danny Sloggett.
She said: “We wanted to get everyone there – it’s good community spirit.
“It was a good evening and it’s great for everyone to meet up with another.”
