POLICE have released this CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the theft of a bottle of brandy.

Staff reported a man went into the store, in High Street, Clacton, about 3.45pm on Tuesday, March 14, picked up a basket and put various items in it.

When he got to the beer, wines and spirits aisle he picked up a number of bottles of brandy, one of which he put into a bag over his shoulder.

He is then seen to put the basket down on the floor and leave the store, making no attempt to pay.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Pc Kayleigh Bigwood at Clacton police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Although the theft took place almost six weeks ago, the information appeal was released to the media this morning.
