SCHOOL leavers enjoyed a stylish send-off as they dressed to the nines for their senior prom.
Pupils from Clacton Coastal Academy went all out for the special occasion, turning out in spectacular suits, flowing gowns and masquerade masks to match the Masked Ball theme.
The year 11s rolled up to the school in a stunning array of modes of transport, including a scooter convoy, London black cabs, sleek sports cars and spectacular motorbikes.
They enjoyed the celebrity experience, climbing out onto the red carpet in front of crowds of cheering friends and family.
Once inside the leavers were treated to a top event, with a disco, a caricaturist, a sweet cart and alcohol-free cocktail bar.
A professional photographer was brought in to snap pictures of the teens, while casino games and an ice cream van were also set up.
Bradley Begamen and Kourtney Barker were crowned prom king and queen.
Coastal Academy achievement director Elizabeth Wells said: “It was a fantastic event and the students, as they have done all year, did the academy proud with their conduct and enthusiasm.
“It was a very special evening and many lasting memories were made for a fabulous group of young people.”
