A PLUCKY four-year-old has had her hair chopped off for charity.

Millie Bell Smith, of Legerton Drive, Clacton, raised £1,250 after having her hair cut off to donate to the Little Princess Trust.

Millie’s Big Chop took place in the middle of Colchester Garrison’s athletics track on Sunday, as part of the Relay for Life fun day.

Mum Emma said: “She is loving her new hair and wants to keep it short.

“It went really well and she is doing great with her fundraising. We got £150 just by walking around on the day.

“It was a very emotional day.”
