A SCHEME to create extra supported living facilities in Little Clacton has been approved.
Maison Care has been given the green light to build four new bungalows in The Street.
The new homes will be built on a site next to Little Paddocks – an existing cluster of supported living bungalows run by Maison Care.
The parish council supported the proposal, which will give people with learning difficulties specialist accommodation and help them integrate into society.
One letter of objection was submitted by a neighbour concerned about extra traffic disturbance.
Tendring Council decided the plans were in keeping with the area and would not affect neighbours.
