TEENAGERS got dressed up in sharp suits and glamorous gowns for their glittering senior prom.
Pupils from Tendring Technology College enjoyed a taste of the spotlight at the special leavers’ ball at Frinton Lawn Tennis Club.
They made eye-catching entrances, arriving at the club in everything from vintage vehicles to stretch limousines.
The event was organised by Helen Appleton and Laura Neville, both members of staff at the school.
Miss Appleton said: “It was a really fabulous evening.
“As usual, the students arrived in a variety of amazing forms of transport and they all looked absolutely fantastic.
“The students were wonderful and so well-behaved, they actually got a lot of comments from members of the club.
“They had an incredible night and were a superb reflection of the school.”
Miss Neville added: “There was a buffet and a chocolate fountain, and every student had a picture taken to take home as a keepsake of their time with us and this special night.
“One of the students gave a speech, thanking the teachers and support staff.
“We also want to say thank you to the tennis club for being excellent hosts, and to everybodywho helped on the night.
“It was wonderful.”
