A BRA and half an Action Man were among 2,100 items of litter picked up in just a few hours during a beach blitz.
A small army of almost 40 volunteers, armed with bin bags and litter pickers, gave Clacton beach a spring clean between the pier and Martello Tower.
The event was part of the Marine Conservation Society’s Big Beach Clean-up, which is backed by Marks and Spencer.
Staff from the store took part in the clean-up.
All the different types of rubbish collected were recorded.
