A CHARITY that owns a closed-down Frinton care home has received a host of bids for the property.
Pilgrims’ Friend Society used to run the Anna Victoria nursing home in Pole Barn Lane.
The group decided to close the home at the end of 2013 due to a nursing shortage and recruitment struggles.
Some months ago, the charity announced it would sell off the Anna Victoria site, along with parts of its Walton site, while putting £450,000 into revamps of its remaining buildings in the area.
A spokesman said several good bids had been received for the Anna Victoria site, but the society was still considering the options and no decision had been made. The identity of the bidders has not been revealed.
