HUNDREDS of visitors turned out in the sunshine for a successful May fair fundraiser.
The annual event, organised by Frinton and Walton Heritage Trust, saw a mass of stalls and activities set up at the Railway Cottage garden in Frinton.
More than 400 people took part in the event and £2,000 was raised. The money will go back into the trust to help with running costs.
The event also marked the launch of this year’s Frinton in Bloom effort. Green-fingered volunteers are already hard at work on their 2015 Anglia in Bloom entry.
Frinton in Bloom chairman David Foster said: “There were a lot of stalls and we had everything from bric-a-brac to a barbecue going throughout the day. The sun shone for us and it went very well.
“The money raised is vital to help the heritage trust complete the excellent work it does.”
