CLACTON Family Trust has been given the all-clear to build a new extension to its existing resource centre in Weeley.
The resource centre, in The Street, provides facilities for children with learning difficulties and the site includes offices, workshops and parking.
The three-storey extension will involve an eight-bed residential respite care facility and is almost complete.
The trust has asked for retrospective permission from Tendring Council, which has been granted.
The council has also imposed 12 conditions to deal with lighting, planting, landscaping, highway safety and surface water drainage.
