HUNDREDS of scooters are due to roar into Clacton this Sunday.
Riders from all over East Anglia will meet up at Manheim Car Auctions in Frating before heading to the resort.
Last weekend 300 scooters and motorbikes roared into Walton to mark the 51st anniversary of the infamous mods and rockers riots of 1964.
Some riders still remembered the notorious Easter mayhem of five decades ago, but Sunday’s event was a friendly affair.
Paul Barnes, of Walton biker shop and cafe Revved Up, said: “We did it last year for the 50th anniversary and it’s a nice Easter tradition to keep going.
“It certainly livens up Walton.”
This weekend's charity ride-out will take place by Clacton seafront on Sunday lunchtime.
