THERE will be repetition, hesitation and almost certainly a little deviation when raconteur, comedian and Just a Minute host Nicholas Parsons appears in Clacton this Sunday.
The irrepressible entertainer is still going strong at the age of 91, delighting audiences with personal anecdotes from a lifetime in showbiz.
His solo show is more outrageous and more hilarious than ever before, enthralling audiences with his humorous revelations.
Parsons became a household name presenting Sale of the Century which attracted more than 21 million viewers at its peak - an ITV game show record.
But it's as the genial and ever so slightly camp host of Radio 4's Just a Minute that he is perhaps best-loved.
Parsons has been wittily overseeing proceedings as guests try to talk on a subject for 60 seconds without repetition, hesitation or deviation since the show was first broadcast on December 22, 1967.
A Laugh a Minute with Nicholas Parsons is at the West Cliff Theatre on April 12 at 2.30pm. Tickets are £19.50 on 01255 433344.
