A YOUNGSTER with a one-in-a-million disease thanked doctors and nurses with a celebrity hospital visit.
Logan Curtis, of Clacton, was diagnosed with brain disorder Rasmussen’s encephalitis in 2013.
The six-year-old has been battling the disease for more than two years, suffering seizures and a formof dementia.
But last week, he visited Colchester General Hospital with celebrity DJ Michael Andre – brother of popstar Peter – to thank doctors and nurses.
Michael has become a good friend to Logan’s parents, Tammy and Gary.
Tammy said: “Michael came with us and was given a tour around the ward to meet staff and have photos done with parents and other children.
“The hospital has had such bad press recently, but the staff do an incredible job and we can’t thank them enough for the care they give Logan."
Michael Andre is a resident DJ at Brentwood club the Sugarhut, regularly appearing on The Only Way is Essex.
He also appears with his brother on hit reality show Peter Andre – My Life.
Tammy added: “Gary has become good friends with Michael and asked him to help us raise awareness of epilepsy and Logan’s very rare disease.
“He is such a genuine and sincere nice guy with a big heart.”
