FIRE crews battled a blaze in a quarry container.
One crew from Clacton was called to the fire, at Martin's Farm, in St Osyth, shortly before 4.45pm on Saturday.
That crew was joined by an Essex County Fire and Rescue Service off-road vehicle.
When they arrived, firefighters said the container, which measures about 40ft by 10ft, was 25 per cent alight.
The fire was extinguished by 8.50pm and crews left the scene.
