GREEN-FINGERED schoolchildren did their bit to keep an award-winning garden blooming by planting thousands of bulbs.
Pupils from Frinton Primary School braved the winter chill to get their hands dirty at the town’s Crescent Gardens.
The youngsters helped council gardeners and Frinton in Bloom volunteers plant 4,000 bulbs at the Green Flag beauty spot to pave the way for next year’s beautiful displays.
