PLANS have been submitted to build an extra four flats on the roof of a former five-storey office block in Clacton.
Harlech House, in Carnarvon Road, once accommodated more than 200 civil servants working for the Department of Health and Social Security.
Clacton developer Krishna Kandiah was given permission to turn the mid- 1970s office block into apartments.
He has now submitted new plans for a extension on the roof in an effort to build four extra flats.
A decision is expected to be made by Tendring Council by January 14.
