AN Armistice Day service will be held outside Clacton Town Hall on November 11.
Veterans will attend the short service at 10.55am followed by a two minutes’ silence at 11am as a mark of respect for the 16 million who died in the First World War.
Tendring Council chairman Val Guglielmi will say a prayer at the service.
“This service gives us the chance to reflect on the many who sacrificed so much for us in various conflicts around the world over the years,” she said.
