THE eyes of the political world will be on the Clacton by-election.
News crews from across the globe have been in the resort ahead of the poll.
Nippon Television, based in Japan, and Voice of Russia will be at the count at Clacton Town Hall tonight, along with all the major British news organisations.
BBC One’s current affairs debate show Question Time will also be filmed in Clacton tonight.
The episode will be filmed at Clacton County High School and will be screened at 10.35pm today.
The show, hosted by David Dimbleby, will include deputy leader of the opposition, Labour’s Harriet Harman, and writer Jeanette Winterson.
