A 60-YEAR-OLD sailor was given shelter on board a commercial vessel after her was discovered in a small yacht off Clacton.
He was found by the vessel’s crew at about 11.55pm on Thursday.
A spokesman for Thames Coastguard said: “He was unsure of his position, mildly hypothermic and out of fuel.
“He was given shelter overnight and then during Friday taken to Brightlingsea, where he was met by a family member.”
He was met by his family at about 5pm on Friday.
