A JAM-PACKED show which takes audiences on a rock ‘n’ roll ride through the 1950s and 60s is coming to Clacton’s West Cliff Theatre.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Paradise brings together an incredible cast to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the plane crash that tragically killed Buddy Holly, the Big Bopper and Richie Valens in Iowa in 1959.

With tributes to the trio, along with artists paying homage to Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison Eddie Cochran and Elvis Presley, the concert is filled with pure nostalgia.

The first half of the show contains classic hits such as Great Balls of Fire, Only The Lonely, Pretty Woman, Peggy Sue and That’ll Be The Day.

The audience is then taken through the latter years of Elvis Presley’s Vegas period, before the finale sees guitar heroes Holly, Cochran and The Big O return to take to the stage with the Big Bopper, Lewis and the King.

All the frontmen portraying the stars are accomplished singers in their own right and are backed up by the Paradise Band, who have worked with such artists as the Bee Gees, Wet Wet Wet and Suzi Quatro.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Paradise is on Saturday from 7.30pm. Tickets cost £19.50 and available from 01255 433344.
