WORK has been carried out to prop up Clacton's famous Venetian Bridge after a piece of concrete fell off.
The famous landmark spans Pier Gap on the seafront and celebrated its centenary this year.
Engineers had to be called in after a piece of concrete fell away at the end of last week.
A support tower has put up in the middle of the structure so the bridge and part of the road underneath can stay open.
