PLANS for a new development including a house and two bungalows in Great Holland were supported by town councillors.
The application was launched to demolish two existing buildings on the Manor Road site and replace them with the new homes.
Frinton and Walton Town Council voted in favour of the plans, despite agreeing it would be a backland development with potential access issues.
They agreed to support it due to the level of support from neighbours.
Councillor Robert Bucke said: “The current site is pretty poor and the surrounding residents are in favour of something being done there.”
Tendring Council will have the final say on the proposal.
