Two vehicles collided on the A12 northbound in Witham this morning.

A white Transit van and black Renault Grand Scenic struck each other shortly after 10am.

There were no injuries.

why do you put those picture up.

they take a time to load and I an sure it wasnt that dark at mid day

They use the same picture for every story involving the A12 and Witham regardless of the time of day. The B&W have about 6 standard photos they use to accompany their stories: there's the police helicopter, the fire engine, the ambulance, the (foreign) dustcart, the police tape and this one of the A12

In these days of camera phones it would be a good idea to sent a reporter out, they could even bluetooth pic back to office and not have to go back and put it through the john bull printing press!
